  321. The Library facility allows you to download or upload files.  Files are
  322. organized into Library Information Banks, or LIB's.  Files can be tagged
  323. with descriptions and keywords.  You can search for a file through its
  324. keywords, or specify it directly by its name.
  325.  
  326. From the Library Menu, you may select a specific LIB, list the files it
  327. contains, search for a file based on its keywords and then download it, or
  328. upload your own file into the LIB.

  337. KEYWORDS AND INDEXES INFORMATION
  338. --------------------------------
  339. Keywords are attached to each file in the Library so that the file can be
  340. referenced by its content or subject.  An Index is a list of files, sorted
  341. by these keywords.  In the MAIN LIB, the file "INDEX." is the Master Index:
  342. a list, by keyword, of all files in the entire library.  In the other
  343. LIB's, the file named "INDEX." is a list, by keyword, of files in that LIB.
  344. Newly uploaded files will not appear in the indexes until the next cleanup.
  345.  
  346. The keywords of a file are provided by the user who uploads it, and
  347. approved by the SYSOP.  Keywords should be short and simple.  Minimize
  348. abbreviations, synonyms and suffixes.  Avoid keywords that are too general,
  349. as well as those that are too specific.  To follow the existing
  350. terminology, look through the Library and LIB Indexes.  Or use Download
  351. (option 'D' from the Library menu) to search for files by their keywords.
  352.  
  353. If you must use a multiple-word keyword, use the comma, so that the more
  354. important word comes first, for example: "america,north" or "compound,
  355. organic".  Use multiple-keywords only when:
  356.  
  357.      o   There exists no single word that identifies the concept.
  358.  
  359.      o   The subordinate word is meaningless without the main word, but
  360.          the main word is too broad without its subordinates.
  361.  
  362. Up to 10 keywords may be attached to a file.  Keywords are always shown in
  363. lower case (but you may type them in upper case).  Up to 16 of the
  364. following characters may comprise a keyword:

  368. Blanks are not allowed in keywords.  "-" or "x" are not valid as a keyword.
